I had a wonderful one-night stay at The Fig Lobby Bangkok. The decor is gorgeous and the staff were super friendly, even remembering my name! However, the location was quite far from major tourist spots, which was a bit of a bummer, especially since I couldn't walk to the metro due to the rain.

My stay at The Fig Lobby Bangkok had its ups and downs. The design of the hotel is truly unique and visually appealing, which I loved. However, the location felt a bit sketchy at times, and I had some amenities issues. Overall, it was a decent stay, but there are a few areas that could use improvement.

Rooms

I stayed in a Superior Double room, and the aesthetic was amazing. The design, especially the bedding and colors, stood out. However, the lack of a proper closet made it difficult to unpack my clothes fully.
Service
6.0
The service was a bit hit or miss. While the cleaning lady was really nice, I felt that upon arrival, the staff could have been more helpful with my suitcase. Additionally, I wasn't made aware of the free Tutu-car service to the MRT until my last day.
Location
5.0
The hotel's location was a mixed bag for me. It's about 40 minutes by taxi to major tourist spots like the Royal Palace, which is quite far. Though there are some shopping options nearby, the overall area felt a bit run down and unsafe at times.
Dining
7.0
I appreciated the welcome drink and the free ice cream that came with my booking. However, I wish there had been more dining options available on-site.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel had basic facilities like housekeeping, but I noticed some issues like leaks in the shower and bathtub. There weren't any tissues provided during my stay, and no bottled water either, which was a letdown.

I had a great time at The Fig Lobby Bangkok. The hotel had a fun and vibrant vibe with street art all over the walls, and I loved my room, especially the super comfy round bed. However, communication with staff was sometimes tricky since they didn't all speak English well, which was a bit frustrating. Overall, I'd rate my stay a solid 8/10.

Rooms

My King Suite with Balcony was huge and equipped with a well-stocked minibar. The round bed was definitely the softest I've experienced in years, and the bathroom was modern and nice.
Service
7.0
While the staff was friendly, some had issues with English, making communication a bit difficult at times. However, one lady at reception was particularly lovely and welcoming.
Location
7.0
The hotel is situated in a tactical area of Bangkok, which is great for getting around, but it's a bit away from the main tourist areas, like the Royal Palace, which took around 40 minutes to reach by taxi.
Dining

Breakfast was pretty good, even though it wasn't included in my booking. I loved the avocado toast, and the staff were kind enough to remake it when there was a mix-up with cheese.
Facilities

The roof bar offered stunning sunset views, and there's a nice spa I didn't get to try. The hotel also provides a range of services, which is super convenient.

I enjoyed my stay at The Fig Lobby Bangkok overall; the atmosphere was young and vibrant, and the rooftop bar offered stunning views. However, the location was a downside as it was a bit far from major attractions, requiring a 40-minute taxi ride to get to the Royal Palace.

Rooms
9.0
The rooms were incredibly comfortable, with a well-equipped minibar and good water pressure. My round bed was one of the softest I've experienced, adding to the overall comfort.
Service
8.0
The service was generally good, with helpful staff at reception. They swiftly resolved an issue I had with my room, offering a free upgrade.
Location
6.0
While the location was a bit run down and required some effort to get around-about a 15-minute walk to the nearest train-this was manageable with the help of the friendly staff who arranged taxis for me.
Dining
7.0
Dining options were decent; I didn't try the breakfast as it wasn't included but appreciated the drink menu at the rooftop bar.
Facilities
7.0
The hotel offers a range of facilities, including strict cleanliness services and options for room service, but the gym and pool were at a different hotel, which was slightly inconvenient.

I had a pleasant stay at The Fig Lobby Bangkok, thanks to the spacious and well-decorated room. The hotel is situated in a somewhat isolated area, which made it a bit of a trek to reach typical tourist spots like the Royal Palace. On the bright side, the rooftop bar provided a fantastic spot for sunset views and the staff were incredibly welcoming, serving good drinks and treats. Overall, I'd rate it an 8/10.

Rooms

While the location is a bit far from popular sights-about a 40-minute taxi ride to the Royal Palace-it still felt accessible through services like Grab.
